I came to recruitment having worked in Contracts Management in IT and was keen to apply the same level of service provision in a people focussed industry. I joined Connect when the company had been trading for 7 years and following a comprehensive training programme culminating in qualification with the REC, I decided to focus on the Temporaries side of the business as it matched most closely with the fast-paced, deadline driven environment I had been used to.

I have worked for Connect Recruitment for the last 20 years. Previous to this I did stints in publishing and PR before landing in the world of advertising. I joined a large advertising agency in London, working as an account manager on large accounts. After this I followed my passion for traveling and travelled the world for a year.

I joined Connect Recruitment shortly after returning. I was particularly drawn to the agency being an independent agency. They had warmth and professionalism.

Recruitment is an interactive and engaging environment to work in, which is ideal for me, as I enjoy working with people. I also really enjoy getting to know our candidates. It’s so satisfying to help candidates understand the ways in which their skills are transferable and to create a successful career path for them. I will do whatever it takes to find the right candidates for our clients.
